Dear friends, This year, in the centenary year of the Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI), we will allow ourselves to look back in appreciation, and be proud of a century of glorious history of the Israeli industry and of the Manufacturers Association. From its inception until today, the Manufacturers Association has been at the forefront of the struggle to improve the business environment of Israeli industry. We have succeeded to achieve many achievements along the way, but the struggle never ends, and we are proud to continue to lead it today. Fortunately, in the centenary of its existence, the Manufacturers’Association continues to grow rapidly and today it represents the largest number of members in its history. Many manufacturers now take part in the association’s institutions, dozens of the association’s employees are constantly helping to resolve different barriers – legal, regulatory, and other - for our members; thousands of members participate in the association’s activities and meetings. The president of the association, Dr. Ron Tomer, is also the chairman of the Presidency of Employers and Businesses in Israel, and takes a significant part in determining Israel’s economic policy for the benefit of our industry and high-tech. So today, we can look back with excitement and satisfaction, with the help of this beautiful album. You are welcome to dive with us into a hundred years of glorious Israeli industry.
